Our members help drive our organization with their advocacy for our mission, their volunteer efforts and financial support. In addition to unlimited admission to CMMC, members are offered frequent opportunities to participate in interest groups planning and projects and steering committee meetings.CMMC members also have special access to the Marconi Operations Center Museum exhibits and CMMC programs. Members are kept informed by a monthly newsletter called the Marconigram.

The CMMC held its annual meeting on November 5, 2011. In his report to the membership, CMMC President Chuck Bartlett listed the following as the major CMMC accomplishments for 2011:
- We welcomed over 3000 visitors to the Center during our operating season from late June through Columbus Day. Visitor feedback was highly favorable. We learned a great deal, building on the success of our preview opening last year.
- Our new and updated exhibits were very well received by our visitors. Many stayed for several hours to explore each one in depth. We had many returning visitors as well.
- We hired our first paid staff to accommodate the expanded operating schedule and the resulting need for many more volunteers to serve as guides and assist our visitors.
- The Town of Chatham made further improvements to the historic site. We now have ADA compliant handicap access, outside lighting, better parking and attractive landscaping.
- Our Amateur Radio Club (WA1WCC) has continued to upgrade the amateur radio facility at the Center. With the installation of a new beam antenna, operators at the station have now communicated with their counterparts in over 60 countries around the world.
- Our support for Cape Cod public schools is growing. Working closely with the Chatham schools, we introduced coursework into two STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematices) classes this spring. Based on the success of these early efforts we were awarded a major grant by the Verizon Foundation to enable us to hire staff, accelarate STEM course development at all levels K-12, train teachers and pilot the lessons at both the Chatham and Harwich schools during this school year.
We thank our members, supporters, friends and staff for their on-going support to allow us to continue our mission into 2012.
The Chatham Marconi Center, Inc. (CMMC) has successfully shown that it has commitment from the community to accomplish its ambitious mission and projects.
