We are located on Route 28 (Orleans Road) in North Chatham across the road from Ryder's Cove -- look for the radio tower.
If coming from Chatham's town center, just follow Route 28 north. If coming from Orleans town center, just follow Route 28 south.
Visiting Time: Plan to spend at least an hour at CMMC. When you first arrive, see our introductory video: "Chatham Radio: WCC The Untold Story", narrated by Walter Cronkite. We have additional short videos that will enhance your visit -- each is about 10 minutes long (see our Exhibits page for their description).
Most of our exhibits have "touch screen" panels and audio to provide background information. You can send a message in Morse Code at the interactive kiosk. The children will enjoy the "scavenger hunt" to identify items across the exhibit space.
Spend some time in the Gift Shop browsing the wide selection of books and logo clothing.
Spend Time in Chatham: The Chatham Chamber of Commerce has a great list of links for Historic Places in Chatham, plus dining and shopping. Or see a tour of Chatham on your smart phone at eTourChatham.
There is more Marconi information and artifacts at the Salt Pond Visitor Center, Cape Cod National Seashore, Eastham MA (about 10 miles north) and at Marconi Beach in Wellfleet MA (about 20 miles north). Also see our Links page for links to the other museums and historical societies on Cape Cod.
