New for 2016

Have you seen the movie The Imitation Game? CMMC is pleased to have on display an actual Enigma cipher machine from the World War II era. In addition to this device, we will have Enigma simulators where visitors can see how the Enigma encrypts and decrypts messages.

The expanded "Tracking the Great White Shark" exhibit, developed in conjunction with Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Department of Marine Fisheries, and OCEARCH, is a featured display in the new Education Center. The exhibit shows how wireless and satellite technologies are utilized in shark tracking.

AIS (Automatic Identification System), an exhibit featured in the Education Center, demonstrates how wireless and satellite technologies are used in tracking ships cruising the ocean. The monitor will show - in real time - the location of ships in the region.

STEM and "Summer Science"

The CMMC STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs continue to grow, and a Summer Science program in the Education Center has been greatly expanded for 2016. Visit our full website for more details.

Not all of the exhibits are on the inside. Visitors to the CMMC can walk the newly enhanced trail through the site's antenna field.
