About the event
For Marconi wireless enthusiasts, learn how Carman used -- and did not use -- sophisticated navigational electronics to play hide and seek with the U.S. Coast Guard and commercial vessels while he was “lost” at sea prior to his “rescue” south of Martha’s Vineyard by the Chinese freighter ORIENT LUCKY.
Following Carman since he and his mother were first reported missing at sea in 2016, Farrell assembled marine surveyor, naval architect, boat builder, oceanographer, wilderness doctor, and commercial fisherman witnesses to defeat Carman’s marine insurance claim in a federal court trial. With that evidence, Carman was then indicted for murdering his mother at sea, in a scheme with chilling parallels starting with the murder of his wealthy grandfather three years before. Documents gathered by Farrell’s team around New England and halfway around the world as well as Farrell’s videoed interrogation of Carman will be highlighted.
