You will receive frequent updates on events and activities through our Facebook Page, and our MarconiGram e-mail notifications. The Marconi-RCA Wireless Museum welcomes 5,000 visitors annually, and is ranked among the top attractions on Cape Cod. Membership entities you to unlimited admission, and includes a supply of Guest Passes so that your friends and family may enjoy it too. The museum is now open year-round, with regularly scheduled hours during the Summer and shoulder seasons, and off-season by prior appointment. In 2021, a season-long series of programs and exhibits exploring the advent of maritime radio and the end of isolation at sea entitled “Radio to the Rescue” will intrigue our visitors with unexpected information and experiences.
If you have not already visited the museum, we invite you to explore the Exhibit Galleries Overview, and to sample our visitors’ many enthusiastic reviews on TripAdvisor. The museum’s exhibits are continually being improved, with periodic major updates
In April 1921, the Radio Corporation of America established its flagship marine radio station WCC in Chatham, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod.
Chatham Radio / WCC was the largest US coastal station, renowned among mariners around the world for most of the 20th century.
Join us this season as we celebrate the centennial of WCC.
CMMC’s Youth STEM Education Program complements the museum and fulfills the other component of our Mission. As in prior years, this past summer our professionally-run Summer Science program offered 24 STEM courses and hosted 98 area and visiting students spanning grades K to 11.
During the school year, CMMC conducts STEM classes during evenings, weekends and school breaks. As a Member, your child or grandchild will receive discounted admission to these classes and special education events. And this year, the new Chatham Marconi TechSmart initiative was successfully piloted in local schools. This program will bring rigorous STEM education projects into the 4th grade classroom to supplement existing science curricula.
And as a Member, for a modest fee you may reserve the Education Center for your private events. The venue is a classic, overlooking Ryder’s Cove on the grounds of the Marconi-RCA National Register Historic District, and is a very special benefit of Membership.
